"The End of Mennonites and the Future of Evangelicals in Russia"

Has Mennonite church life in come to its end?  What are the issues affecting the future of Evangelicals in Russia? William Yoder, a long-time Mennonite observer of church life in Eastern Europe and currently media coordinator for the Russian Union of Evangelical Christians-Baptists and the Russian Evangelical Alliance, will report on his personal encounters with the Mennonite remnant in Siberia and his observations on Evangelicals in Russia.

Westgate Mennonite Collegiate will be holding an Open House on Wednesday, February 1 from 7:00-9:00 pm.  

Have you ever felt the pinch of a high-school clique, been lost in the woods and taken shelter in a gingerbread house, or had your heart broken?  Come and join Westgate Mennonite Collegiate's Junior students as they explore these themes in the 2012 production of 3 one act plays.

Winnipeg Mennonite Theatre presentsMajor Barbaraby George Bernard Shaw. The themes in Major Barbara range from religious conviction and charity to capitalism and social engineering. An eight week parenting class called Making Sense of Adolescence is being offered by Terry Warburton of Recovery of Hope Counselling. Developed by Dr. Gordon Neufeld, this course is an approach to parenting adolescents who are 9 years and older; restoring the natural intuition to parenting and effective practices that preserve the relationship.
